David Tweet Posted June 22, 2019 Report Posted June 22, 2019 Ready to plumb new polycoated lines to new cylinders all around. The previous brake lines weren’t laid out well, trying to configure close to original as possible, also not sure about the poly line, did test double flare with ok results...any photo of rear, front would be appreciated.does the Rear only have one rubber flex line from bracket to axle on driver side, where it tees to the cylinders? The lines run up over the rear leaf springs? Thank you, Dave in Squamish BC Canada Quote
Frank's 49 Posted June 24, 2019 Report Posted June 24, 2019 Some photos of the rear of a 1948/9 B1B 108 (before any clean up!!) The lines run Under the rear leaf springs Quote
squirebill Posted June 25, 2019 Report Posted June 25, 2019 Yep.....under the spring and to the rear of the spring hangers. Check the fittings on the old lines to your new wheel cylinders. The new wheel cylinders I got were actually front wheel cylinders for mopar cars . They were tapped to have hydraulic hoses running to them and not hard lines. Needed an adapter hydraulic fitting and crush washer to adapt the front wheel car cylinders to the rear of my B1B. Quote
