KNicholas2 Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 I am rebuilding the engine in a 1942 Plymouth Special Delux P14. What color did the factory paint those engines?? I am trying to keep this as "original" as possible. THank you. Kim Nicholas Seattle Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 I used this POR 15 high heat aluminum applied with a 2 inch brush. It has held up better than any spray paints used previously. About $15 a can, and it goes a long way. Others say they have used different products successfully. It seems that all the old Plymouth (and other) flatheads were silver. Quote
