Guest fallingseraphim Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 Ok so heres the story quick and dirty. Bought a 1950 b2b-108 short side bed from a guy in PA. Looked it over gave him the deposit came back 2 days later to pick the truck up. Noticed after I got it home he removed the VIN plate (it was on there when I gave him the deposit) ANYWAY I'm dealing with that now BUT I thought I saw it listed somewhere that the VIN is also stamped on the frame. Is this true and if so where? Oh yeah and HI everyone I'm Tom. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 Welcome Tom, Interesting user ID. Care to elaborate? You've got a nice lookin' truck there. Is it road worthy? Anyway, you'll find the serial number stamped into the left front frame rail, just ahead of the front axle. I borrowed this pic from the DEPTCA site for your reference. Merle Quote
Guest fallingseraphim Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 THANKS YOU ROCK! I wish it was road worthy... Its been sitting in a garage since 1997 it certainly needs some work but its a solid base and I have some spare parts for it too so thats a plus! The name comes in a way from the artwork on my back, a branded set of wings and a cross. Its just the title I've used online for a number of years now. I'm sure to be on here quite a lot looking for ideas, help and parts. It's nice to actually find a devoted classic dodge community At least now I can move ahead and try to get a title for my little project Quote
