bach4660 Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 according the manual I got the Stromberg is correct for the B2d, mine came with the Carter which I thought was original. So I guess the answer to your question is yes they are interchangeable Quote
Dale Uhrich Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 I have a 1949 1 ton and a 1948 1/2 ton . I found that the carbs off the two truck would bolt on ok but the intake on one was higher and the linkage had to be shortened to work correctly. I'm not sure of the carb models. Quote

bach4660 Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 I cut one out of brass sheet with the tin snips. I cut it long and then trimmed the ends down after bowing it into a hoop to keep it even. Quote
