Have 1950 dodge truck with original Stromberg 3-100b carburetor was wandering if carter carb would fit I think they came with either one any body have answer to this question thanks allot Brian

according the manual I got the Stromberg is correct for the B2d, mine came with the Carter which I thought was original. So I guess the answer to your question is yes they are interchangeable

I have a 1949 1 ton and a 1948 1/2 ton . I found that the carbs off the two truck would bolt on ok but the intake on one was higher and the linkage had to be shortened to work correctly. I'm not sure of the carb models.

thanks allot for the info the problem I have is on my Stromberg carburetor I am missing the horse shoue shaped clip that holds the float pin in place any tips on locating one of those greatly appreatchikated thanks allot Brian

I cut one out of brass sheet with the tin snips. I cut it long and then trimmed the ends down after bowing it into a hoop to keep it even.
