grey beard Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 Charlie, The reservoir itself, is easy to find at any foreign salvage yard. Many foreign cars use these - they are translucent and have a hose connection on the bottom just like you need. Considering the nasty locaion of the stock MS, I'm surprosed that everyone does not wish to do this. I'm certain the reason for many MoPar MS failings is due to contamination from filling at that difficult point to find on a Pilothouse truck. Before you drill your cap and install a hose fitting in it, better either braze or epoxy the small vent hole in the side shut. JMHO:) Good Luck Dave Erb New Holland, PA Quote
Don Coatney Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 Can anyone direct me to information about setting up a remote master cylinder reservoir on the firewall or somewhere more accessible? Charles; Contact James Douglas on the other side (P-15, D-24). He modified his Desoto master cylinder cap and went remote with a reservior. Believe he has pictures on his web page linked to his profile. Quote
