Redsdad57 Posted June 25, 2018 Report Posted June 25, 2018 1950 Plymouth Special DeLuxe 2 door sedan. Set the point gap and timing. Vacuum advance unit works (disconnected while timing was set). Stumbles when accelerator is depressed. Suspect bad/worn accelerator pump. Did not want to take carb apart without rebuild kit in hand. Problem is that I am having difficulty finding D6H3. I can find D6H1 and D6H2 but not the 3. Is it the same as the 2 or is it unique? Quote

Redsdad57 Posted June 26, 2018 Author Report Posted June 26, 2018 4 inch chop. Thanks. I'm glad you like it. This one actually went to a guy in Wisconsin. The one we have now looks like this. Depending on whether we sell it at the KKOA in Salina next month, it may go under the knife in August. Quote

I really hate to see one that nice and original cut up,but your car, your choice. Quote
Redsdad57 Posted June 26, 2018 Author Report Posted June 26, 2018 Well, we are giving folks the opportunity to step up to the plate and buy it from us before we do anything else to it. We are vendors at the KKOA LeadSled Spectacular in Salina and that is the reason we plan on taking the car there. I understand what you are saying. The jacking instructions are still attached to the jack! But my personal opinion is that the top is too tall. However, we are getting pretty far away from why I posted. Does anyone know if a kit for a D6H2 will work on our D6H3. This car runs, drives, and stops. But I hope to get rid of the hesitation. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Quote
