That is what I am using , but mine is held in place with a bungy strap and wrapped in an old inner tube for protection, which wouldn't look too good with your glass floor .  Some of the guys who use the 6 volt optima also buy the dummy case and the optima fits diagonally inside of the case .  That could ease the mounting problems IF the dummy case will fit in the existing holder .
