JohnS48plm Posted July 30, 2007 Report Posted July 30, 2007 I'm getting ready to pull the p-18 engine out of my coupe to replace with a rebuilt p-15 engine. I just drove the car about 50 miles saturday. The engine runs well but when she gets warm the oil pressure drops from 40 down to 20. John Quote
Johnny S Posted July 30, 2007 Report Posted July 30, 2007 Anybody heading west to Colorado? I'd be interested but Battle Creek is a long ways from Fort Collins, Colorado. What are you going to leave on the engine? Do you already have your P15 engine? Quote
JohnS48plm Posted July 31, 2007 Author Report Posted July 31, 2007 I just put the head and pan on the p-15 engine. As soon as I get the valves adjusted I plan on pulling the front sheet metal. The p-18 engine has a generator, starter, distributor, and a transmission. I will need the bell housing and manifolds for my new engine. I'd like to get $200 out of it as that is what I payed for the p-15 engine. John Quote
