Well before the AoK boys had a triple, I had a Edmunds Triple on my 1953 Chrysler Windsor. Factory 265 and a semi-automatic. George Asche did the 3 Plymouth carbs and linkage for it. It was a rock-stock engine and it definitely came alive. It has been 25 years since I made the error, opened the hood at a car show and some guy started rolling off the dead presidents until I just couldn't say no! At the time there were lots of people suggesting it wouldn't run, it would stall, it would do this and wouldn't do that. Quote
normanpitkin Posted May 14, 2017 Author Report Posted May 14, 2017 How did it change gear then ,without the electrical connection the transmission simply didn't work ,we tried it! Mine is a 1941 with a vacuum operated ,the 53 is quite different. Quote
