Harmonic Balancers

Has anyone noticed their engine running smoother after having the old balancers rebuilt?

I pulled the radiator on my 50 d34 and am debating having that done since I am removing it to replace the front crank seal.

I had a clutch job done on my 39 Desoto and after the car was returned it was running rough not smooth the mechanic stated that the HB needed to be replaced. After it was replaced this smoothed out the engine vibrations.  This was done about 25 years ago.  I put in a NOS unit
