Looking for Good Website to Sell Old Electronic Parts

I've got a couple of small cartons filled with various NOS replacement parts for old TV's and radios.   Is there a good forum where can I advertise them online (for free, preferably...)?

As an avid radio collector/restorer I would recommend http://antiqueradios.com/forums/index.php.  We are a group of friendly guys who enjoy the radio hobby!  Plus there are a lot of car guys as well!!

I must mention that very few old TV parts, including tubes are not worth much.  I have had several tube caddies filled with NOS TV tubes and could not find anyone to give them too.  I have been in the radio hobby for over 20 years and find it very enjoyable.  My Plymouth is fun too!!!

 

If you can post a picture I would be glad to offer any insight as to what you have.

You have some great looking radios as well as a terrific Plymouth.  Thanks for the link to the electronics website.

 

I took a picture of the parts a while ago and there were tube sockets, switches, and various other electronic parts.  Maybe you can decipher what they are.  The cigar boxes have handles screwed onto them and they stacked them like drawers.  The parts came from my friend's father, who ran a small 'evenings and weekends' repair business with his brother from the late 1940's to the mid-1960's.  They were both WWII veterans and got their training on the GI Bill.  When the family moved to Florida 20+ years ago, they said "If you don't take the parts, we'll throw them out".   That phrase is like Kryptonite to Superman....I get weak and take things home.  Now we're downsizing (a slow, multi-year process so far....too much stuff is a curse!) and it's time for the parts to go.

 

Anyway, any light you can shed on these parts would be appreciated.

Sorry for the delay.  I am not real savvy at navigating the site.  Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.  I have and do enjoy the Plymouth.  Regrettably I have as of recent considering selling it.  I do not drive it like I once did.  All to often it sits for too long of periods of time.  We both know letting a vehicle sit is not the ideal situation.  I have two grown children and neither has any interest in my car or the radios.  We are all different I guess,

 

Back to your radio/tv parts.  To be honest nothing looks of any great value.  These are the type of items one would find in the "junk boxes" of most restorers.  Not to say they have no value----just do not plan on buying that new Lamborghini with the proceeds! These are the type of items one would find at a swap meet selling for a few dollars per box.  

 

Are there any electronic stores out your way.  You might give them a call and see if there is any interest locally.  

 

Please let me know before you discard them.  I will throw a few dollars your way---at least you can get a free lunch!!

Thanks for your thoughts.  I heard of a radio-TV repair shop not too far from here that does work on older electronics so I'll get over to them and see what they say.  I'll let you know by PM in a week or two.
