pyrodork Posted June 25, 2016 Report Posted June 25, 2016 I've asked this before, but can't remember where. How/where is the speaker box for the radio installed on the 37? I think it's over the steering column. But where do the 3 hooks attach? If someone can post some pictures of their stock radio and how it's installed, that would be great! Thanks! Quote
LAKOTA169 Posted June 26, 2016 Report Posted June 26, 2016 There is a metal bracket that bolts to the inside of the firewall above the steering column. If you look at the firewall from the engine side, you will see 2 indentations about 9" apart on the drivers side. This is where I drilled through to mount the bracket. Not being handy at fabricating things, I had to have one made, The top edge of the bracket has a "V" shaped lip that the radio hangs from. There is also a bracket at the bottom of the radio that lines up with a large screw on the firewall/floor. Quote
