stan's52 Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 I am cleaning the front door on my 52 Concord. I removed the molding on the inside. It isone complete piece. Now where the door glass rubs the molding. there is a piece of fuzzy material about 16 inches long attached to the molding on the inside next to the glass. Anyone know what this straight piece is called, and where I can get it. thanks, Stan Quote
Desotodav Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 Does it look like the one in the attached photo Stan? If so, that's called an 'vent division bar L-shaped fuzzy' and I got mine for the truck from Andy Bernbaum. Try maybe? item A-381 under the 'weatherstripping' tab on the Bernbaum website for your car. Quote
jcmiller Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 If you're talking about the fuzzy molding on the garnish molding, it is called the "inner belt strip," at least by Restoration Specialties. There is a diagram on page 7 of their catalog that shows the different door moldings. There are a lot of different kinds. You can send them a sample to match if you want. Quote
