BobT-47P15 Posted November 19, 2015 Report Posted November 19, 2015 When we went to Pensacola, FL in April of this year, we spent a night in Tupelo. While there, I discovered they have an antique car museum.....but did not have time to visit it then. Sooo.....when we went to Pensacola again the first week of November......I made it a point to tour the museum. The admission was $10..... $9 for an old person such as myself. They keep around 100 cars on hand. They also try to keep things interesting with various special displays during the year. At the moment, they had a Pontiac display which included more newer than older Pontiacs......but that was OK. There was a pretty wide variety of cars (all in nice condition) from the early years to the sixties......some seventies in the Pontiac assortment I think. A few Chrysler products, but as usual they were in the minority. Click on the link which should take you to a section of my PhotoBucket album containing all my museum pics. http://smg.photobucket.com/user/BobT3/library/Museums/Tupelo%20MS%20museum%20%20Nov%202015?sort=3&page=1 Quote
White Spyder Posted November 19, 2015 Report Posted November 19, 2015 They also have a good show there every year in the spring. Blue Suade Shoe. Couple of days live music at night. Let me know the next time you are coming though the state. Maybe we can catch a drink and talk old MoPars. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted November 19, 2015 Author Report Posted November 19, 2015 Cool.......... We have decided that when going to Pensacola to see the granddaughter and family, it works out good for us to end up at Tupelo the first day, which gives a bit shorter drive on to Fla than stopping in Memphis. Not sure when the next trip will be. Quote
