JD luxury liner Posted November 4, 2015 Report Posted November 4, 2015 I searched the forums & saw some ideas on homemade lizard skin. however I have already purchased this stuff. Surprised that know one has used the real stuff. I will let you know what I think of it. A friend used on a Ford & I saw a 20 degree cooling difference on the roof alone . California summers!! Dave72dt Posted November 5, 2015 Report Posted November 5, 2015 I've used the real stuff. Sprayed it on the floor, firewall, door panels, trunk sides and roof of a 48 Ford Tudor. I don't know how effective it is for heat since I used the sound deadener material only. The tin can sound is gone. It does take a special gun to spray it, goes on really easy, next to nothing for overspray, 6 inch of paper for masking is all that's needed unless you have a really poor aim and the occasional drop that gets past the paper cleans up with water. First pic is of it dry, second and third of it wet and starting to dry 1 Quote
JD luxury liner Posted November 5, 2015 Author Report Posted November 5, 2015 Awesome I was beginning to think no one knew what it was. Thanks for pictures . I did buy the gun , because the guy who had the Ford that I talked about, complained that he wished he had got the spray gun. I got the ceramic version . Should paint this weekend I hope. Quote
