I replaced the bad shoe with one from donor car. and while in there honed the cyls and put in new rubber. The question is - now do I need to bleed all 4 lines or just the one wheel- both cyls?

Also i am replacing a worn out grommet on the shifting lever - anyone got any good ideas on how to do that - I almost destroyed the last on i tried to put in

Louman,

To begin with..... I'd just bleed the one cylinder and go for a spin. If ya find yourself bumping into ojects unintentionally then I'd bleed the rest

;) .

I agree. Some might depend on which cylinder it is, too. One of the passenger side, you'll stand a better chance of only needing to bleed that one. Also, you'll most likely only have to bleed either the front or rear, depending on where it is, too.

On the grommet, lube it good, and maybe squeeze it in with a c clamp and a socket or two, like you would a suspension grommet. Install the rod after the grommet is in place, not before.

Oh, and cuss a lot and keep a BFH handy.
