Ricky Luke Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 I went to a car boot sale yesterday, and one stall had a box of old Mopar branded spark plugs in three sizes and I think various heat ranges. The numbers are A6N, A7N, D5N, D7N, E5N, E6N and E7N. The A's are tiny, and the E's look like they'd fit my dad's 29 Plymouth. My manual doesn't have a part number for Mopar plugs, just Auto-lite A7B and Champion J8. Does anyone have a conversion? Here's a pic of the E7N. Cheers Rick Quote
fstfish66 Posted April 14, 2015 Report Posted April 14, 2015 search on line for a conversion chart,,, and or go to or search auto lite and cross that number to what ever motor your working on,,,hope you find what you need,,, Quote
Ricky Luke Posted April 15, 2015 Author Report Posted April 15, 2015 Thanks. Tried that. Only could find "modern" Mopar plugs - round top M... Cheers Rick Quote
Tom Skinner Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 Ricky, I looked in my Parts Book 1942-1948 Chryslers and didn't come up with any information. That plug does look like it is for a 1929 Plymouth. I know the Champion J8 is compatible with your 1940 Royal. They sell conversion charts on ebay, and I looked through some of them for you. You can "enlarge the view" with the little magnifying glass at the bottom of the charts. There was even a L designation on one chart but they were for Imperial Eights. Good Luck! Tom Quote
Ricky Luke Posted April 17, 2015 Author Report Posted April 17, 2015 Thanks Tom It's really odd that I can't find anything... But thanks for the Imperial prompt. The Online Imperial Club (http://www.imperialclub.com/) have a heap of scanned documents, so I'll go and have a browse. Cheers Rick Quote
