Well, I managed to get myself in a jam again, Hmmmm, Ay Yi yi, yi yi. This time its with the steering componants on my 50 Ply SD. Took em off to put new tie rods and disc brake kit on. The brakes come out wonderfull, Now I have the idler arm and steering arms mixed up. HOW DOES THE IDLER ARM GO ( PART NUMBER UP OR DOWN ) Looking from the front of the car, on the drivers side, where it attaches to the spindle, I have the tie rod facing down (nut down) where it attaches to the idler arm I have the tie rod nut facing up. Looking at the passenger side from the front, where it attaches to the spindle I have the tie rod facing up ( nut up ) and where it attaches to the idler arm I also have the nut up.. Need help here. Also, where these arms attach to the idler arm, do these steering arms cross each other..If any of you guys can explain this setup I would appreciate it I'm at an IMPASSE until then, Thanks Stan
