Lakermatt Posted April 7, 2014 Report Posted April 7, 2014 hi all, this has probably been brought up a million times... but do they make a lowering leaf spring for this car? like a posies, or something someone makes that can lower my rear end without doing any hokie stuff? I am looking to put in a nice updated drive train in this car, and want it to be lower than stock, but don't want to start taking out springs in the pack, and blocks. let me know. thanks! Quote
james curl Posted April 8, 2014 Report Posted April 8, 2014 Yes, Posies makes one. Go to the Supper Slid Spring site, page 38, item PL35-48LH. Price $410.95 a pair plus shipping. Thgat is Posies web site. Quote
deathbound Posted April 8, 2014 Report Posted April 8, 2014 (edited) James, I think Matt is asking about rear springs for a '54 Plaza. The Posies springs are listed for '33-'48 cars......unless they're identical for later cars. Edited April 8, 2014 by deathbound Quote
Lakermatt Posted April 8, 2014 Author Report Posted April 8, 2014 I think I might toss the lowering as of now. I got a really good deal on this car, but it is missing the rear end (complete). I found a donor 4 door that has springs... will these work for a 2 door car? I would imagine that all the springs are the same right? Quote
