Olddaddy Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 Well, you're killin me Reg...........I'd donate considerable portions of my personal anatomy to have a rig like that!!! If somebody, anybody ever loads up a container in Oz headed west to the US of A I want an express bed like the one on this truck, promise you'll let me know. Quote
Tony WestOZ Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 I don`t mine to get picky but the one on ebay is a Standard ute body. The one below is what we call an Express body. It`s different to the US ones in that the sides are wider apart. Note tailgate on this one is not original. It should be like a US one`s with Dodge stamped in it. Quote
Olddaddy Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Apologies, I thought the Ute body had no seam between cab and body. In any case I love the look of the Ute body, it suites the Pilothouse cab perfectly......and someday I'll have one. Quote
Ken_Hart Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 I think us American car guys think of Utes being a one piece uni-body... that is really a nice one... I have always been a fan of Utes Quote
Tony WestOZ Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Sorry I might of confused things. The ute, in either Standard cab or Deluxe cab is a one-piece body. The Express body is similar the US model pick-up but the sides are wider apart than the US one. Quote
