Merle Coggins Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 Well, even though my attempt to get some guys together for the Wisconsin Dells Car show was a bust, I went anyway. I didn't expect to see much for Dodge trucks, but right off the bat I see this sweet '54 Of course as I was taking pictures of this truck I came to the realization that I should have charged my camera battery over night. So now picture taking is at a premium. I spot one other Dodge truck. It's a Monster... And then when I was almost at the far end of the show, I spot these 2 Very Nicely restored Power Wagons It was a nice day for a show. Too bad we couldn't make a better showing of vintage Mopars. Maybe next year I'll have mine ready and I can try again. Merle Quote
Merle Coggins Posted May 20, 2007 Author Report Posted May 20, 2007 And now on with the show... Although there weren't many vintage Mopars, there was a plethora of 60's and 70's Mopar muscle. Several Cuda's, Challanger's, Charger's, (and of course one was a General Lee replica) Super Bee's, Dart's, Demon's, Road Runner's, etc. And if you're gonna have a General Lee car, you must have a Starsky & Hutch Torino. (one of 2 actually) And sometimes you get confirmation that some people have more time and money than sense. As is the case with this Chevy 350 powered Mini But there were also some nicely done customs, like this '36 Plymouth or this '37 Ford Pickup and I even ran across this very nice 1960 DeSoto Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Merle, I'll bet that Mini with the 350 would be a hoot to drive. That thing should really pick up and fly. I know a guy that use to have a Fiero that he put a 350 in. That thing would really getty up and go. Quote
