gramps1951 Posted February 17, 2013 Report Posted February 17, 2013 hi guys this is my first post here but i have been reading your posts for a while . thanks for letting me join up. i'll tell you about my truck it;s a 1951 b3b it spent much it's life working in a junk yard and the guys there kind of put in her what ever was around. it has a 1974 amc 258 gremlin engine in it with chrys. 707 trans a 1974 chevy master and booster a plymouth scamp heavy duty radiator the directional front lights came out of a gremlin. it has a ford 9inch rear a caddilac seat the wiper motor was a power window motor the air cleaner lid is a hub cap. it had a cast iron exaust system all the way back and someone wired it with orange extention cord. so it is a one of a kind for sure i paid 800 for it . and i call her gramps because it looks like someones grampa should be driveing it.belive it or not but i have done 80 in this old bucket of bolts the wind noise is something else dont think ill do it again just wanted to see what it could do. the old amc258 was a great engine and when this one dies i would replace with the same or repair. i have taken some picture of it but dont know how to post them. well thanks again for letting me join up. thanks neil.
