Jim Yergin Posted October 22, 2012 Report Posted October 22, 2012 Saturday I participated in another wedding. The groom is a big fan of woodies and he contacted the National Woodie Club to see if anyone in the area would drive his bride and him from the church after the ceremony to their reception. The wedding was at a church on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. (about 40 miles from my home in Virginia). It was a beautiful day and it was a lot of fun sharing the car with such appreciative people. Fortunately the car ran great. Jim Yergin Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted October 22, 2012 Report Posted October 22, 2012 Ahhh.........the car looks good in front of that old building. Kinda fun to drive for a wedding. We've done it in the convertible 3 different times. Quote
Chester Brzostowski Posted October 22, 2012 Report Posted October 22, 2012 Great Job Jim, If I remember back, I had a woodie at my wedding also. That was 39 years ago. Now I have a 48 Plymouth 4 door sedan. Chet… Quote

Desotodav Posted October 22, 2012 Report Posted October 22, 2012 Nice old woodie Jim. I think that it's great to see the interest shown by the younger generation in our older vehicles! Desotodav Quote
