Here's my solution to the non-functional passenger side mirror on my P15. I bought an accessory stick-on mirror at AutoZone, and attached it to a piece of sheet metal bent in a "U" shape to slip over the passenger side window. I adjusted it to where I needed it, and applied a bit of PVC cement to the pivots to prevent mis-adjustment. Granted, it "ain't purdy", but if I'm driving solo, with no one as my spotter, it is a big help. And I can remove or install it in a matter of seconds. I have arthritis in my neck, so it's difficult for me to turn my head far enough to get a good look before changing lanes. I also installed a back-up camera on the car, with a video monitor built into the sun visor for backing up. I may install an additional camera on the inside tip of the passenger side front bumper to give me a little more visibility on that side.
