I put this on both Plymouth bulletin and P15D24 forums, as I got valuable help from both:

My new overdrive is installed now, thanks George for this nice unit! I had to build a bracket for the OD Handle and bowden cable, which activate the lock out rail.

I found a flat angle steel for use in roof carpentry with good dimensions. I milled a key hole shaped hole in the lower part and shortened the iron to fit exactly the fixing bolt of the cowl vent lever assembly. At the far end I fabricated a kind of pipe clamp to fit the lever assembly again.

Respecting the originality of my Plymouth, until today, I always could fit my numerous modifications without drilling any new hole in my old car. Whoever wants, can build it back to original one day. As using my car for long travels, it must perform in todays traffic without detracting me more than necessary!

(the blue electric connector is a 16 Years beginners sin, today I have a good stock of original electrical plugs, connectors and all)

Thanks for the thread. I too have a George Asche OD that I will be installing in my P10, and I may need to follow your lead.
