Throttle control linkage spring

Where does the spring connect to? Firewall??

Here's a couple of photos of where mine connects... but bear in mind that mine is a right-hand drive truck. Assuming that your trucks are similar as our Oz ones, there should be a split pin poking through the floor panel of your truck down just below the bottom of the firewall panel.

Destodav~Thanks, the pics confused me a bit, but the idea of a cotter pin pushed through one of the two upper floor plates makes sense. Bend the tips of the pin over, and slip the spring end through the head of the pin. Simple, easy, and quick (unlike most everthing else I've had to do.)
