I did 145mph once on the old Yamaha FJ 1100 simply to try it...5 miles stretch of straight road and didn't look down - twice!....a while later tried it on my 74 Kawasaki H2 but suddenly got tank slap around 100...I was done at that point...no more....walked away from cycles all together after the second last person in our riding group dropped his bike..only left me then.

Ah, mispent days of youth, or young, dumb and full of....

Now my removal of bucket list items includes the purchase of a 70" flat screen...far more sedate. I can more easily watch the dumb kids do their thing.

I am in Sao Paulo Barzil a couple of times a year on business and they have a lot of couriers they call Moto Boys who deliver documents from business to business that all ride small motorcycles. The traffic in Sao Paulo is terrible, bad enough in fact that based on your liscense plate number there is one day per week that you are not allowed to drive within the city limits.

When the Moto Boys mix with the other bike riders you get long lines of bikes splitting lanes honking their little beep beep horns like a deranged flock of birds.

Found a video showing the spectacle. There is not a trip to Brazil that I do not see at least one Moto Boy down on the side of the road. Bad thing is with their traffic it takes an ambulance for ever to get to him.

I took my model A up a motor cycle hill or I should say mountain and haft way up it ran out of poop. So I decided just to back down but on the way turn the steering wheel so that I would be heading down forward. Wrong! I had four of my friends in the sedan and when I started to make that turn I could feel the car lift up on one side and I knew for sure it was just going to roll down the hill. Well go lucky and everyone jumped out except me and held the car up from rolling over and over and over. I just put it in first and went back up the hill a few yards and then straighten the wheels out and backed all the way down. Ah youth and dumbness at it highest degree.
