I built these posters for use at this summer's upcoming car & truck shows. I see my truck as a mobile exhibit and it is a great opportunity to share the history of not only my truck but all Dodge Trucks from the Pilothouse era.

The posters are printed with weather proof ink on sheets of 2 foot by 3 foot Tyvek and should last out in the sun, rain and wind. They took some time to assemble but it was worth the investment in time and printing costs. Take a look and let me know what you all think. I built them using MS Powerpoint but had to save them as a jpeg and make them small enough for you to see them on this forum. The resources on this forum, from it members and the pilothouse club's website were essential.

I have completed six of these and have a couple more to do. Thank you for checking them out,

KJ

Here are the other three posters. Due to the limitation of this forum in terms of size and type I can't make the images any sharper for you all but it will give you an idea of what I have put together.

The muffler one is always the first question people ask about my truck when they see pictures or see it in person. The muffler although not stock by any means, it is era correct in the wheat country of the rolling hills of the Palouse and prior to the introduction of semi-dwarf wheat by Dr. Vogel. Vogel and I were good friends.

Enjoy.

Those are awesome looking! Nice work.

Would love to see full size images. Here's how if you wanna try.

You want to include a large, if not huge picture with your post

1. Open a free online photo storage account like photobucket

2. Create an album that you will keep photo's in for a long time . For example, you have a album of engine pics, you post them on the forum. If you move the images from that album, it will appear as a broken link in the Forum post.

3. Open the reply window on the Forum.

4. Open Photobucket in a seperate window

5. Put the windows side by side

6. Pick the image you want on Photobucket

7. When you hover over the image, the different location addresses show up

8. Left click "image code", it will say "copied"

9. Move over to the Forum reply

10. Paste the "image code" address from Photobucket into your text

11. You should see the address in your text braketed by the image notes ...and...

12. You will not see the image in the text window

13. When you feel you have added the images you need, click "preview post"

14. You will now see your image.

15. Play with the look of your post by rechecking with the preview.
