58prostreet Posted May 21, 2012 Report Posted May 21, 2012 I just recieved some stainless trim that I orderd from an outfit called Max Merit Auto. They make stainless for Packards, but it can be used on anything. They offer 1" or 3/4" with pointed tip, offset pointed tip, or squared. Also offer 1/2" in pointed or square. Their site says $10.00 per foot and $10.00 per end, but it is slightly higher than that. I got 4 pieces, 52.5" each ,of 3/4 pointed for $70.00 per piece. Also got 24 fasteners for $24.00. Shipping was about $30.00. May be a little pricey. but is nice stainless. I was afraid it would not bend to the contour of the fender, but it is going to work fine. Nice people to deal with on phone is a bonus. www.maxmerrittauto.com Also as info. If u decide to get any u need to measure distance between front and rear hole and add at least 4 inchs. The crimp for the clips doesn't start til about 1.5 inch in. Bob Quote
DJ194950 Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 Thanks for the link! Been looking for rear fender moulding for a 50 ply. 4 dr. for the past 1 1/2 years. Maybe their's could work. Would need to be some what bendable as you suggested theirs was for you. Added to favorites, maybe at some future date i could afford to order. Thanks Doug Quote
58prostreet Posted May 22, 2012 Author Report Posted May 22, 2012 I should have said mine was for a '52 Dodge Wayfarer. I used the same length for each fender. Bob Quote
