Well after many trial and tribulations and also a lot of headaches- Here is Son's 68 Mustang fastback as Willie said "On the road again"

The old 351 Windsor wore out- by the way not a lot of those laying around ( originally this had a 390 s code car- remember Bullet- Steve Queen? his was a 390) But 390 are not the best bully's on the block. But this little 351 Windsor with a 650 Holly mild cam, Duals and 5 speed overdrive stick trans out of an 85 mustang is really the bad boy on the block around here. He loves it .

By the way - If you have a son who likes noise get him the loudest pipes u can - my boy is thrilled at noise - sound like 90 mph but doing 45 -.

Anyway when u were a kid like him bet u did not want a flatter six did u? I had a 48 Plymouth 4 door as my car and naturally wanted a 57 Chevy- Hated my p 15 but now love them and have 5. Times change and although this might surprise u -- so do we!!

Lou

Great to hear you guys have it where you wanted it Lou. I've been waiting for you to post this for awhile. I hoped to see the license plate I painted on it when this day came but I assume you have your reasons. Either way, great looking car and something to be proud of. Now if I could just get my wife to let me drive hers :)

That's a beauty, Lou.

My brother-in-law still has the 70 Mach 1 he bought new out of high school. Everyone though he'd wreck it in a month...still has it and still nice cond.

I had a flattie then and I sure wanted something better !! I did get a 64 Marauder with a 390 after the Chrysler. Nicest road car ever.
