I know this has been discussed to infinity and beyond, but where is the best source for this odd gasket/welting? Dennis came down on Saturday the one he had looked about perfect. (it looke like a "T" with one side of the cross bar being shorter than the other. He said he got it from Roberts, but the one Gary sent doesn't look like that, that was more foam and more like a funky "L" (will be calling Gary as soon as he opens today to see if he has the other stuff still).

I've heard people "say" try the Ferd restoration places, any help with which and who would be great if you know those answers! I've never seen that actually answered in any of the threads.

I'm close to putting the fenders on and I want to only do it once (for now)!

I found this thread recently, and purchased two sets, one is enough.

Not original but looks good. Still need a vertical seal to be riveted in place.

Best of luck getting your fenders fitted in one go. I still need to gap mine.

excellent. thanks.

So far it's held up for two years. It's not hard rubber but rather like wet suit material, closed cell foam rubber. I'd do the same thing again no problem.

Good Luck,

Hank :)

never mind, Gary HAD sent me the right part, but I didn't see it buried under the door seals. IMO Roberts part is good for me.
