If these pics don't come out I guess I am just to darn dummass. Anyhow I need a little information on the items in the pics. The back of the front seat at the bottom there is a peice that I think is a foot rest for the back seat people to rest their feet on. My question on this is does it get covered with carpet or the cloth on the back of the seat? Next thing is under the dash of the car there is a looks like a switch with a cable going to it and under the hood there is a round thing that my negative battery cable goes to. /The car is still 6 volt positive ground. Question is what is this thing under the dash and under the hood of the car? My guess is it is some kind of power shut off?

Thanks for the information in advance,

Larry

I believe you are correct about the power shut-off, although I have never seen a set-up like that on either of the P15s that I have owned. What or where is the control cable that is connected to it?

If I remember right, that foot rest was covered with hog hair carpet.

That definitely is a battery cut off sawitch with a very clever home-made remote cable on it.

Disregard my question about the control cable. Your shut-off is a security system. I have no need to know. It was a dumb question.:o

I have a similar battery cut-off switch......the round portion is on my

firewall, has both battery cables running to it. I just reach up under

the dash and flip the handle. Evidently on this one.....you pull on a

knob mounted on the dash.
