218ci engine problem

I hve a 218 engine in the 48 sedan I have and the oil filler tube is loose. I can take my hand and wiggle it around don't know what the problem is that it is so loose. Do these tubes have O-rings that hold them tight or our they just supose to be a tight fit like a drive in fit?

drive in fit with a clamp at the top of the filler tube bolted to the head.

Haven't seen one with the clamp as mentioned but they are just a press in fit........I tapped it down with a piece of timber over the top and light but firm hammer.........hasn't come out since.........andyd
