Standing Elk Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 I would appreciate a couple good clear pictures of the inside of the doors on a 49 B1, that have the "correct" panels and armrests. My doors have some extra holes that someone used to screw their own pannels to. I am starting to refinish my doors and need to know which holes not to fill. My e-mail is saddington54@yahoo.com. Thanks Steve Quote
Jim Shepard Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 (edited) These panels are correct for 51-53 trucks, not my B2B. The correct ones for 48-50 have a little bump-out at the top middle. You can see the holes in this photo. There is a combination of screws and push-in fasteners. Screws go in the two holes at the top. You can also see how I dealt with the arm rest issue (no repoductions). It isn't all that pretty, but it keeps folks from pulling off the window crank or opener. Edited November 30, 2011 by Jim Shepard Quote

Merle Coggins Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 Here you go. This is the door on my B2, which should be the same as the B1's. This is the panel that Quiet Rides made from my original panel as a pattern. They even punched the mounting holes to match the orininal. If you look close near the top there are 2 small holes in the panel where push in button fasteners should be. I just never installed them on the new panel. Quote
