Bingster Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 Anybody do business with Custom Auto Glass? I'm looking for a source of good glass that fits. Thanks. Quote
randroid Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 Bingster, If you are talking about replacing existing glass simply take the old one with you and hand it to them, and "them" is any place that deals with auto glass. Shop for price but we're not talking hundreds of bucks. The demon to replace in our cars is the curved rear window and thankfully have a good one of my own but the rest of the windows are simple. They must be because I've done it and got it right the first try. -Randy Quote
OldDad67 Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 Which Custom auto glass are you talking about and where? I take all my flat glass to a local shop and he cuts the new for an exact fit using the old glass as a patern. It fits perfect, however I have ordered pre-cut glass and really had a tough time getting it to fit. Be sure and measure the new glass for size with your old to prevent a very long day. Quote
