I don't know if a ground strap would make any difference. If it is a whole radiator, I don't see electrolysis is an issue. Your radiator hoses would insulate the aluminum from the other metals on the car where they would be under water. I think the issue is two kinds of metal in contact with significant water presrent. Maybe if it were just a core, but I am not sure which metals cause a reaction.

I talked to the guy that sold me the rad and their sending me a 52 plymouth radiator and a free electric fan. I told him that I think it might be too tall. He said if this one doesn't fit Ill get my money and shipping back. Well see.
