Ok, so i call Joe up so he can adjust the timing on my 1940. I get there and he has his car out working on it. He pulls his timing light out and We try to find the mark. We don't see it. can't find the mark. My car is idled up way to high and the air/fuel mixture screw was not adjusted so we change that then Joe pushes all my spark plug wires in real good. We play with his car for a while then I go. I'm on 495 and I am pushing my Plymouth when I notice all and I mean all the hesitation is gone. The car is running like it use to:) This is why this forum is so important. Now for all of you who could not be there I did a short video for you and here it tis; )

Rodney,

Thanks for posting that. Joe's car sounds great.

Glad to hear your's is back up to snuff and that you are back to being out and about.

I am looking forward to the day that you, Joe, Chet and I get all of our cars together for a caravan.

Jim, I can't wait either:) We will be having uncontroled fun on that day. Joe and I are talking about going to leons in Culpeper very soon ....maybe we can stop and get you.

Joe, I don't know but after I left you the thing ran great. I know you heard all that noise uunder the hood. I got my doctor tool out and listened around. The water pump did not have any grease in it. I greased it and the sound went away.

You guy's should have seen Joe's floor, it was a work of art. He has done some real good rustproofing and sound deading in there. I have a pic of it. He can tell you what he did.

You know I am not taking care of my car like I should. Maybe because I was sick. I am vey ashamed of myself. I got a good mind to ride right into the sun....rain...storm...earthquake....Hurricane......

Don, we're still trying to get over the terrible feelings of guilt. We might get together again the next sunny day we have just to talk about it.

Joel, let us know when you're in Fredericksburg. You're right in the middle of the Civil War down there. Close to The Wilderness, Chancellorsville, and a few other places.

Rumor has it that Rodney will be producing a full length feature movie after your visit to the bone yard in Culpeper. I believe the title will be....drumroll...

"Snakes in a Plymouth":D

Jim, Joe, & Rodney,

Maybe sometime in late September, although I still may have some trim missing but that is what winter months are for. I will keep you in the loop.

Chet…
