55 Fargo Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 Hey all , got my sorry butt out of pad at around noon today, after working all night. It is a cooker here in Southern Manitoba at around 95 f, so was not sure I would attend this show and shine. Just before 2:00 in the afternoon, packed car, drove over to the event about 15 miles from home. The 47 ran great, and kept her cool at 165 all the way. Once I got to the show, parked in the shadiest place I could, got my dash plaque, and pulled ou the lawn chair and camera, oh wiped all the gravel dust off my car and wheels first. I did not get all that much interest in my car, but those that had questions or comments, had a lot to say about old Mopars, and the love of the reliable Flat Head 6 engine. The event did wind down early with the silent auction and tickets draws. I was also able to take some pictures of the remaining cars, before I drove out and headed back home in the heat. Here are some pics. Quote
55 Fargo Posted July 16, 2011 Author Report Posted July 16, 2011 My 2 show favorites, a 50s Olds Delta 88, unrestored, unmolested survisor, and a Model T hot rod, love the car, not cars fault it has a SBC and not flattie V8. Car reminds me of Ed Iskenderian's Model T Hot Rod. Quote
