steveplym Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 On my '47 P-15 sedan, I'm looking to make it easier on myself and my interior by using an external reservoir on the firewall for the brake fluid. I know some of you have done this. Where could I get a kit to do this, and how does it work? Thanks for your help. Quote

47heaven Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Steve...I had that done to my car for the same reason you want to do it. When I had the whole brake system redone, I asked to have the master cylinder capped off and have a reservoir placed on the firewall with a line running down to the MC. I also have had the hole, where the opening was to add the fluid, patched over and covered so that water doesn't get in. Now, I don't have to guess how low I am on brake fluid or have to mess with pulling up the floor mat and opening the top of the MC anymore. I'm all for original, but being practical makes more sense, in this case. Quote
