Merle Coggins
'48 & '49 (B1) are the same. One quick way to know if it's a '50 (B2) is to look at the park brake. B2's have the park brake under the dash like your B3's. A B1 would have the park brake coming through the floor next to the shift lever. There were some late B1's that had many of the B2 changes. They are designated with an "X" in the serial number. Otherwise, to know for sure you'd have to plug the serial # into Eric's decoder. http://www.t137.com/registry/help/decode.php Merle

MBF
Yup-if you've got the horizontal guages centered in the dash its a 48-50. Mike
