Well I finally got the hot rod painted it's new color for the summer...A dark, brick red with a lot of flattner in the paint. Only had a couple of small runs that are of no importance....besides, 5 ft. is close enough to look at it...If your any closer than that and you say somthing I don't like.....your dog food....As for the graphics, my SIL's BF has a sign shop so I had him make me some vinyl stencils then I hand brushed the paint on so it looks a little freehandy..53 was my number when I circle burned in a super modified. I hand brushed the shadows. I cut down some rough Model A fenders and put them on the back. They were both left hand fenders but I found an area on both that worked right or left and sliced these pieces out with my plasma cutter..Now all I have left is the exhaust header which is at the powder coaters where it will recieve a hi-temp aluminized coating that polishes out like chrome only cheaper..pics of that next week when i get it back and on.....then we go cruzin'....John

John, tell us more, what body is that, and frame and rims and stuff? Very neat roadster. A friend has a 32 Ford hi-boy, no fenders. His least favorite thing ever is left hand turns in the rain :eek:

Norm;

You probably missed it on the old forum but John bought a couple hunks of iron and hand bent the frame rails. Then hand built the rest of the car in only a few weeks.
