I was also contemplating swaping a T5 while the engine and trans is out, Has any one successfully mated these together? Pictures are greatly apreciated! Quote

Reg Evans Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 I installed a Chrysler 251 in my 52 1/2 ton. Only a few simple modifications were necessary. I added metal tabs under the front motor mount to reach back ~2" to the original mounting holes on the front cross member. I had to notch out the lower lip on the cross member to clear the oil pan and I installed a big truck radiator to clear the fan. Quote
