austinsailor Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Someone has offered me a newer Dodge power wagon, somewhat of a brute of a truck. One ton dually, V8, 4 wheel drive. Runs and drives well, no brakes. $1000. What's a guy to do? Quote
moparmonkey Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Nice! I love the old sweptline's. I'd widen a set of the stock rear fenders and put a step side bed on it. Might take a little custom work, but truck bed's are pretty straightforward. Quote
rustyzman Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Gotta get it. Got to be done. If the funds are free and the space is there, sounds like a fun truck to me. I got a thing for the old one ton duallies so you may have to disregard my opinion. Seriously though, if it is decent shape a Power Wagon would be a really fun machine. If your heart desires, go for it and have some fun. Quote
PatS.... Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 That's a D300. A Power Wagon that big is rare. That's great score if you get it. I have a 62 D300 with a dump box. Poly 318 4 speed. Runs really well. Not having much luck finding a brake master cylinder I can afford though. I made an adapter plate and will use a newer one. It's hibernating outside with it's buddies for now. Quote
oldmopar Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 Looking at the 3rd photo it looks like a hub on the front wheel so it may be a w300 there shoukl be or have been a tag on the inside rear of the drivers door with information on it model serial # and more. Looking at the bed it looks like it was a tow truck in a prevoius life. If its a w300 worth the 1K it should have dana 70's front and rear Quote
