Rear end ratio question........

Hi guys...........Bob T from the P15-D24 forum. Does anyone know what the gear ratio is for a 1939 or 1940 Dodge half ton pickup??? I don't have any reference material on that. Thanks.

Most likely 4.11 Bob. Even though this ratio might be stamped on the casing someone could have changed the ring and pinon to a different ratio though. I did this to my 49 Dodge before it was sold. 4.11 to 3.54.
