Difference between 1942 & 1960

Well I got my new old car home this last week and today I took the Thunderbird out for a short ride and got all kinds of thumbs up! Well nothing new in that department as the old Dodge always gets the thumbs up from other drivers.

But there is one big difference and I'm not quit oust to it and that is a little G force when accelerating in the new TBird. That old 352 just put out the power and before you know it I'm doing 60. Well the fluid drive Dodge is just short a few horse's. The T Bird has 300 Horse Power and the Dodge well let say it probably has around 100.

But I feel privilege to own two such nice old cars that look great and get allot attention.

I do have some type of electrical problem with the lights in the T-Bird but this time around I'm having a professional check them out and not me!!! To tight under that dash for me!

Well just thought I would let you guys know that I'm still around and will stay here as my first love is for my Old Blackout Dodge! Jon

My next door neighbor came over to ask me if I could hire her to help with my old cars but I had to say no because my wife was home>:)
