I didn't get this measurement when I took the front end off my truck.

From the top of the shock to the wheel well panel (going toward the engine)...how much of a gap is there.

Just outside looking at my truck and not sure if that panel will easily fit back in the truck without some 10lb hammer modifications.

In this picture, the top of the shock mount is about even with the valve cover bolt. There's about 2" from the edge of the shock mount to the valve cover.

Thinking I'm going to have to either remove the panels before I reinstall the front-end. Or maybe remove the shock mount....install the complete front end, then reinstall the shock mount.

This guy in Cali at the Clements BQ put a Twin carb Ind hemi in his truck-you should get in touch with him. Reg and others know him. More pictures to be seen if you search Clements here in the forum.
