Classic car club friend called about a container with all kind of 40-50 fenders that were found in the attic of a former Dodge garage building.

Decided to take a quick peek, too bad the rust is already taken its toll (deep rust pits). Some parts seem ok. I saw one P15/D24 left frontfender dented and rusted.

If only ....

But that gives hope that there are more locations where these may be found !

Also a , I think, front clip of a Dodge , also very rusty.

My gosh that is a SIN what they have 'thrown' away to the trash. That could have used a GOOD home. Bet most of that rust would have cleaned right off. Was that the landlord/property owner just chucking it to get rid of it??? Or kids too young and dumb they didnt know what they were tossing?? A little 'education' seems to have been in order there!!

The third pic showed the deep pitting most had, no even surface rust.

Salt air here and the location is downwind from the refinery so lots of sulver etc as well.

Not sure why, believe they found this when they were renewing the ceiling (although I guess the ceiling can't have been in that long!).

Probably these could have been used but shipping costs would be very high.
