Normspeed Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Got home from vacation to find my lowering blocks waiting for me. Bob did a clean job of trimming them down on a CNC machine so I'll get the right drop to match my front end. The overall drop is not much at all, but I think it goes well with the car. Thanks a million Bob. While in Fla I drove my friend's 53 which has radial tires. Wow, what a difference from my car with bias plies. I've decided to move the radial purchase to the top of my to do list. Quote

rearview Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 Always glad to help, glad you like them. The more I looked at them, the more I decided to make a set for myself and drop my Dodge down an inch or so. Give it a little attitude. Quote

If you feel like making up more than one set, I'd sure like to drop the rearend of my 47 down an inch or so, too! Marty Quote
Normspeed Posted March 8, 2007 Author Report Posted March 8, 2007 Seems like Don Coatney had posted some info on making up his own from rectangular steel tube. Quote
rearview Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 I've made some previously out of square/rectangular tube. It does work good, but can look hokey unless you cap the ends off. Bob Quote
