48mirage Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 For those of you who are running more than 1 carb here is that tool you need to syncronize them. It was listed under motorcycle parts but I can't see why it wouldn't work for any multi carb setup. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=200084239651&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=010 Jim Quote
martybose Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 This won't work real well with our multicarb setups, because we tend to have multiple carbs on a common plenum. so they have the same vacuum signal. It works great for independent runner systems! Marty Quote
blueskies Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 I just bought one of these: Supposed to be easier to use than the other type, like this: Both of these tools are available here online. I noticed when I put my car away for the winter that one of the carbs was pulling more air than the other, so I can't wait to get them better dialed in with the tool. I'm going to have to make some sort of an adapter to fit the funky diamond shaped throat on my Holley/Webber carbs to use the tool... Thinking about part of a coffee can with a hole cut in the end to fit the tool, and the other open end will fit over the carb just like the air filters... Pete Quote
