jakenoklahoma Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 one not so good as far as the metal part, great lens, good for conversion. one in decent shape beginning to lose silvering in spots, great lens. not certain what I want, but something I could use on my B4D would work. Quote
jakenoklahoma Posted May 28, 2010 Author Report Posted May 28, 2010 I am not talking a fortune here, I'd just like to see them go to somebody who wants them. Trade for a radio to fit my B3? Not the unobtainium one, either. or a good straight front bumper, a horn, etc. Quote
1955 plymouth Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 what type horn are you looking for? I have the internal pad and wire components to a five window b3. It has the trim ring around it, the trim ring is busted but the guts to the horn are good. Quote

1955 plymouth Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 you are looking for a trumpet looking horn or a smaller rounded one? I will check and see what I might have. Quote

JoelOkie Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 (edited) trumpet Jake, I have several of them around here, if you haven't found one let me know and I will hunt you one up. Where in Oklahoma do you live? I am in Pawnee County. Joel UPDATED Jake, the horn I have is not a trumpet, but is an almost exact match to the horn in my 49 B1B, which is more of a big funnel type horn. The horn doesn't have any dents, and I wired it up and it works. There is a very slight difference in the mounting apparatus, as this horn came out of my 46 Ford pickup, but it looks like it's a matter of drilling 2 rivets out, and bolt and go. It needs a good cleaning, and a little paint. Let me know if you haven't already made a deal with 1955 plymouth for one, and/or if you decide you want this one you can give the headlights to 1955 plymouth if he can use them, or give/trade the headlights to someone else, as I don't need them myself. JoelOkie Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 Joel, that would work, thanks! Well there you go then, Jake. Let me know where you are at and I'll find a time when I can meet you 1/2 way, or if that isn't convenient let me know where to send it. Joel Quote
